Tim Ly immigrated from Hanoi, Vietnam when he was four years old to Portland, Maine. Tim is Vietnamese and Chinese and speaks fluent Vietnamese. Tim grew up in Portland and Biddeford and attended UMaine Orono on a track and field scholarship. Tim had a short career with mono his senior year but ended up with 3 UMaine T&F records. He bought his first four unit in 2001 and started MaineLy PM while he was finishing up graduate school. Tim has owned over 200+ residential and commercial units. He's had tenants from doctors office to hot dog carts. He has since sold most of his units and reinvested in MaineLy Property Management, MaineLy Lending, MaineLy Flipping, MaineLy Developers, Downeast Realty and MaineLy Childcare. Tim lives in-town Portland as a bachelor. He is very active and loves the outdoors. Tim loves spending time with his family/friends and four nephews Justin, Mikko, Nathan and Dylan!
